FIGHTCRIME.ORG – Illinois Law Enforcement Leaders Meet with State Senate President in Support of Preschool, Preventing Child Abuse
Law enforcement leaders met with legislative leadership from both parties at the Capitol to urge them to protect programs for kids that prevent crime. The Fight Crime: Invest in Kids Illinois leaders expressed deepening concern over the impact reduced funding has had on Illinois’ preschool program and also emphasized how important it is for the state to maintain funding for home visiting programs that have been proven to reduce child abuse and neglect.
