THE SOUTHERN – Edmonds rejects cuts to preschool programs
SPRINGFIELD — On April 26, Union County State’s Attorney Tyler Edmonds joined other representatives of law enforcement agencies across the state in Springfield to reject further cuts of Illinois’ state preschool programs.
Edmonds and Union County Sheriff David Livesay work with Fight Crime: Invest in Kids Illinois, a bipartisan, nonprofit, anti-crime organization led by more than 300 sheriffs, police chiefs, state’s attorneys, other law enforcement leaders and violence survivors.
