Tennessee Man Sentenced to 4 Years in Prison for Threatening DCFS Employee

 

Union County State’s Attorney Tyler R. Edmonds announced today that Brandon McCaslin (DOB 09-26-1981) of 1829 William Cody in Dyersburg, Tennessee, and formerly of 1196 Water Works Road in Alto Pass, has been sentenced to four (4) years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a charge of Intimidation, a Class 3 Felony.  McCaslin phoned the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) in January of 2012 and conveyed threats to a DCFS employee regarding a pending case with the agency.  McCaslin was arrested following an investigation by the Anna Police Department and Union County Sheriff’s Office.
