Anna Man Sentenced to 10 Years on Cocaine Charges

Union County State’s Attorney Tyler R. Edmonds announced today that Richard A. Wilson (DOB 06-09-1981) of 120 George Street in Anna has been sentenced to a total term of ten (10) years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on two separate cocaine charges.  Wilson was sentenced to six (6) years on one (1) count of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, a Class X Felony, and four (4) years on one (1) count of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a Class 1 Felony.  The sentences will run consecutively.  The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at Wilson’s residence in November 2010 by the Union County Sheriff’s Office and from a separate August 2012 investigation by the Southern Illinois Enforcement Group.
