Man Sentenced to 9 years in Connection with Multiple Fires in Ware

Union County State’s Attorney Tyler R. Edmonds and Union County Sheriff David Livesay announced today that Corey E. Iman (DOB 03-21-1993) of 45 Elm Street in Ware has been sentenced to nine (9) years in the Illinois Department of Corrections in connection with a string of fires in Ware during the months of January and March 2012.  Iman was sentenced after pleading guilty to two (2) counts of Residential Arson, both Class 1 Felonies.  Iman was arrested in March 2012 following an investigation by Illinois State Police and the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
